Trauma-informed healing and training

For the people who hold everyone else together

Release|Rise|Reclaim your colour

You're the one everyone leans on. You hold it together for everyone, at work and at home, and there's very little left over for you. If the colour has quietly drained out of your own life, you're in the right place.

When holding it all together starts to cost you

Whether you work in a caring role, run your own practice or simply carry a lot for the people in your life, I hear the same things again and again.

  • You hold it together for everyone else, then have nothing left for you.
  • You keep repeating the same patterns, people pleasing, overthinking, holding back, even though you know better.
  • You understand it all in your head, and still can't change how you feel.
  • Something from the past still has a hold on you, even if you can't quite name it.
  • The things that used to light you up feel flat. Life has gone a bit grey.

Many of these patterns began as ways to keep you safe, often long ago. Some come from childhood, some from years of carrying other people's pain.

Either way, they live in your body as well as your mind, which is why thinking your way out of them hasn't worked. When the body feels safe enough to let go, old patterns loosen and the colour starts to come back.

Life in full colour

Imagine feeling like yourself again

This is what the people I work with describe as the colour comes back in.

Energy for your own life

Waking up with something left for you, your family and the things you love.

Lighter inside

Letting go of what you've been carrying, from the past and from the work you do.

Present with your people

Calmer, softer and really there with the ones who matter most.

Knowing your patterns

Understanding why you react the way you do, and choosing differently.

For organisations

Look after the people who look after everyone else

Vicarious trauma is one of the biggest reasons good people leave caring work. It shows up as sickness, short fuses, strained placements and staff who quietly burn out. My training gives your staff and carers a shared language for what they are carrying, and practical tools they can use the same day.

Meet Candice

I had to understand it in my own body before I could teach it

For years I tried everything to make sense of my own patterns. Mindset work, meditation, journalling. I understood it all in my head, and still nothing really shifted.

What changed everything was understanding that trauma lives in the body, and that healing has to start there too. Working from the bottom up, through the nervous system, is what finally let the colour come back into my own life.

Since then I have built a body of work around that understanding. I have trained hundreds of practitioners in energy healing across more than 40 countries, spent the last ten years training and supporting coaches and therapists, and created the Survival Masks and Your Conscious Journey so this work can reach the people who need it most.

I'm a trainer and methodologist. My work is grounded, practical and trauma-informed, and it always moves at a pace that feels safe.

Live your life in full colour

I sat in a room with a family and twelve professionals, and everyone was dancing around the real problem.

That was the day I decided to work with people who truly want help, and to get to the core of what is going on rather than staying inside what professionals are allowed to talk about. Everything I teach comes from that moment.

In their words

What changes when the colour comes back

I walked in wearing my Pathfinder and Seeker masks tightly. I thought strength meant pushing, fighting, surviving. Through the healing work I realised that while my masks kept me alive, they wouldn’t lead me where I wanted to go. The shift wasn’t just mental, it was visceral.

I came to Candice feeling deep dark red: tight-chested, lost, and with my power given away. Now the tightness is gone, I’ve found myself again, and I feel bright pink again.

After years of working with kinship carers, I know how challenging it can be to care for others while managing your own family. Many carers are at breaking point, and most training focuses on the children.

Conscious Catalyst changed that by focusing on the carers themselves, helping them understand their feelings, identify their triggers, and manage their emotions.

I have never witnessed carers being so open about their feelings or growing so quickly. After the training, they were more confident, less stressed, and better equipped to handle the challenges of their roles. Many felt this training should be mandatory for all, and I wholeheartedly agree.
